The Evolution of Marion Outdoors

Weddings Plus
Before Marion Outdoors came along it used to be a wedding store. The owners so graciously sold us the building. Richard and Anne Saufley

An Empty Room
This was taken the day Coach and his wife closed on the building. We were so excited to get started.

Drop Ceiling Destruction
We discovered a 100 year tin ceiling surprisingly in great shape. We just had to share it with everyone again.

Painting the space
Coach painted the entire room by himself. Felt like a rite of passage.

Right before we opened
Coach took this picture right before he unlocked the doors the first day of the soft opening.

Ribbon Cutting
May 1st was the official opening and ribbon cutting of Marion Outdoors.

Hiker Trash
Being called Hiker Trash is a badge of honor. We honor hikers and love having them in the store.

Thru-Hikers
A common site during hiker season. April through the beginning of June.

Local Support
Marion has been so very supportive of the store. Thanks for welcoming us into the community.

Visitors from around the world
We've been visited by world travelers. This bikepacker is spending the next two years traveling the world by bike.

Hungry Mother State Park
Campers and visitors of Hungry Mother State Park are welcome visitors to our store. They especially love our "Hungry Mother Lover" t-shirts!
